Meet the Owner

Hello!  My name is Robert Stafford, owner of Go North Baits & Apparel.  I'm a hunter, fisherman, proud father, husband, and outdoor enthusiast. 

 

Born and raised in Indiana, I am a proud father of two amazing kiddos and I cannot speak highly enough of my loving wife.  My wife and I along with our daughter (and hopefully eventually our son!) have a deep love for anything outdoors and it has been truly amazing being able to carry this tradition of spending a lot of time outdoors with our children.  While we spend much of our time in Indiana, we have a strong calling to the mountains, beaches, and remote parts of the United States and try to adventure as much as we can.  

Outside of work, I thoroughly enjoy fishing and hunting.  I try to find the lighter side of the hobbies, hence some of the joke-related shirts.  But I can also thoroughly relate to those long hot or cold days when nothing is happening.  It is hard to beat the peace that comes with being next to a mountain or seeing a herd of caribou crossing the tundra.  I have a deep respect for the outdoors and truly find my peace when outside.
